Well, wk.com had some issues recently and in the fall the site has encountered some issues which is preventing the database driven back-end system from working. You've seen the error message recently. "Oops, something went wrong..."
I've taken a cursory look at the problem and tried a few things with no luck. At this time, I simply don't have the wherewithal to immediately fix this problem. The easiest thing at this point might be to simply recreate the site but that is a bit extreme especially with the low amount of traffic we've been generating lately.
At this time, I think the best idea would be to look for alternatives from a full-blown blog/content management/forum system. A social network was mentioned and I think that angle has some real legs.
With that in mind, I've created a network on Facebook for the Wild Knights guild. I would like to get some feedback on this solution. Facebook has a wall where messages can be posted for the community and everyone can maintain their friends list and spread the word to the rest of the community to help spread our group's connections to one another.
So, please give this a try for a while- let's do this as a test. Based upon feedback, we'll take "the next step" with this site (whatever that may be).
